Presidents Message

Dear friends and families,

I thank each and every one of you for giving me the honor to serve as the president of Kerala Hindus of New Jersey (KHNJ) from 2020 to 2021. KHNJ is not only a Hindu organization, but it is a sociocultural association in which families and friends come together. This is a team of enthusiastic people with a dedication to one another and to our communities.

We have a common bond, a spirit of friendship as Malayalees, and we engage in  charity and volunteer work in and around New Jersey.  It is of paramount importance that we recognize the youth, as it is their responsibility to preserve our Keralite culture, and it is our responsibility to teach them the values we cherish as Hindus. KHNJ  functions as a sanctuary for the youth, women, and for those who want to preserve our Kerlite culture. We also perform special poojas for women, such as the one we had during Pongala.

I believe that, as your President, I am responsible for providing our community members with programs and volunteer opportunities they can use to better themselves and the environment. I will work hard for all of you, and I will work alongside you to achieve our goals.

If you are not a member of KHNJ, I request you to become one and join the community. Your thoughts and suggestions are very important to us and will help the organization serve the community with strength and preserve our Hindu culture. On behalf of KHNJ, I ask KHNJ members for their extended help and support.

Yours Truly,

Sanjeev Kumar
